Halloween 1998

On Halloween, we had some guests over for a Halloween party. They are old friends of Darina's and Michelle's from high school. Halloween was decidedly new for our friends. On the invitations, we asked the guests to come in costume, but most of the costumes were improvised at the Zib's. As you will see, everyone did a great job to get into the spirit of the holiday, and we were able to have a real Halloween, but with enough differences to make it Czech!

Chris cuts a dashing figure as a pirate.

Michelle as a little girl, or holchichka.

Milos had one of the best costumes of the evening.

Roman the chef...Bon Apetit!

Jana the skipper. Docked on dry land.

Darina the Olympic ski champion ready to hit the slopes.

Tomas, the impeccably dressed gentleman.

Simona, Santa's Little Helper. A bit early, but who's counting?

We had ice cream flambe, fruit soaked in vodka, & chocolate!

The evening's activities: Carving a green pumpkin contest.

The pumpkins lighted, in the dark-they are a scary sight!

The contest was declared a tie-both are equally interesting.
